Our third session of 2025 featured a conversation with Julia Wilson, Head of Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations, Global; Jeremy Davis, Head of Corporates, Sustainability & Climate; and Lauren Wisbeski, Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations – Americas at MSCI. Our conversation covered shifting stakeholder expectations, evolving investor sentiment around ESG and DEI, and MSCI’s response to ongoing regulatory changes. The speakers also provided guidance on engaging with MSCI, addressing disclosure challenges, and preparing for future ESG reporting expectations.

Julia Wilson, Head of Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations, Global

Julia Wilson

Julia Wilson is the global Head of Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations at MSCI. Leveraging MSCI's position at the center of the financial ecosystem, the Issuer Relations team is responsible for engaging issuers at scale to ultimately support high-quality data and assessments which both add strategic value for real-world investor needs, as well as promote greater transparency and efficiency for financial markets overall. Previously, Julia held a variety of roles at a global data and technology company, including the creation and leadership of its strategic sustainability platform, including the delivery of client-centric insights and thought leadership.

Jeremy Davis, Head of Corporates, Sustainability & Climate

Jeremy Davis

Jeremy Davis is Head of Corporates, Sustainability & Climate at MSCI where he owns the strategy and development of sustainability and climate solutions for the corporate segment—companies and their advisors—globally. Previously, he led the client coverage team providing these and carbon markets solutions to this segment in the Americas. Jeremy joined MSCI from Moody’s where he led global integration of ESG & climate initiatives across business units as well as stakeholder engagement and reporting. Prior to Moody’s, Jeremy managed sustainability programs and special initiatives for Barclays in the Americas. He draws on experience at NBCUniversal where he built social change solutions and programs in entrepreneurship and innovation. Jeremy began his career doing corporate development in the nonprofit sector. He has completed the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service at NYU Wagner and holds a BS in Management and a BA in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. 

Lauren Wisbeski, Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations

Lauren Wisbeski

Lauren Wisbeski is Senior Associate, Sustainability & Climate Issuer Relations. Leveraging our position at the center of the issuer and investor communities, the Issuer Relations team engages with issuers, provides strategic oversight for issuer engagement and education, and serves a critical liaison role between issuers in our coverage universe and our analytical staff. We work closely with our ESG Issuer Communications team, who support issuers with all incoming queries.  

Prior to MSCI, Lauren was Disclosure Manager at CDP, where she led disclosure strategy for all public companies in North America. Her efforts resulted in significant increases in disclosure to the Forests questionnaire and from first-time CDP responders. Throughout her career Lauren has held roles in Communications and Marketing, nonprofits, and government affairs. She holds a BS in Political Science from Boston University.
