London, 1 April 2026 – ERM today announced that Tom Reichert will step down as Chief Executive Officer effective April 15, after leading the company since January 2022 through an important phase of development and growth. Sabine Hoefnagel will serve as Interim CEO while the Board conducts a search for a permanent successor. To provide additional continuity during this transition period, Andy Boland, Chief Financial Officer, will continue to work closely with Sabine and the broader leadership team to drive operational and commercial execution across the company. Tom will support the leadership transition and remain engaged with ERM in an advisory capacity to help ensure continuity.
Tom Reichert said: “It has been a privilege to lead ERM during such an important period in the company’s development. I am incredibly proud of what our teams have accomplished together and the impact ERM continues to have supporting organisations on their sustainability journeys. With the strong foundation we have built, I believe now is the right time to transition leadership as ERM looks ahead to its next chapter. I look forward to supporting a smooth transition.”
Bill Theofilou, Executive Chair of ERM, said: “On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Tom for his leadership and the important contribution he has made to ERM’s success. Under Tom’s leadership, ERM has strengthened its global platform, deepened its client relationships and enhanced its capabilities across key growth areas. As the company continues to evolve and execute on its long-term strategic priorities, we are focused on identifying the right leader to guide ERM through its next phase of growth.
