Henry Shere, PhD, is a Senior Consultant in ERM's Product Sustainability team, based in London, UK. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Bath, where he graduated first in his class and worked within the Centre for Sustainable & Circular Technologies and for the Future Industries Institute at the University of South Australia. At ERM, Henry has contributed to projects within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, automotive and electronics industries, with a primary focus on delivering life cycle assessments of individual products and processes.

Hugh Whetherly, is a senior consultant in ERM's Product Sustainability team, based in London, UK. Hugh joined ERM in 2022 having previously worked for ERM as a sub-contractor for 18 months. Hugh graduated from the University of Bath with an MSc in Chemistry. At ERM Hugh has managed numerous projects including LCA’s, carbon footprints and scope 1, 2 and 3 assessments. These projects involved a range of industries including chemicals, electronics, Pharmaceuticals and clinical trials.

Aoife Calnan is a Senior Consultant with five years of specialized experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors based in Horsham, UK. Her expertise lies in life cycle assessments (LCAs), Scope 3 carbon footprints and care pathways, where she has helped guide organizations towards more meaningful and sustainable practices. In recent years, Aoife has transitioned into project management, leading teams to help clients identify hotspots in their supply chain and reduce their product and company environmental footprints. 

Marcella Volta is a Managing Consultant within the Product Sustainability Team who joined ERM in February 2023. She has over 12 years of experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and Product Carbon Footprint (ISO 14067) projects, as well as eco-design tools across various fields. Marcella has been involved in Corporate Carbon Footprint projects and greenhouse gas (GHG) assessments in sectors such as apparel, food, ceramic tile production, and storage battery manufacturing. She has extensive experience with the Sphera database (formerly GaBi), as well as proficiency in other databases, including Ecoinvent and various GHG Protocol-recommended third-party databases.  

Doyin Oladele is a consultant with over 3 years of experience in sustainability and process improvement. Her experience includes research, auditing and using environmental accounting tools including Life Cycle and Scope 1-3 Assessments to identify the environmental impacts of goods and products. She has also worked to help clients identify waste treatment solutions in line with circular economy principles. She is an auditor for Responsible Sourcing in the construction industry (BES6001, EcoReinforcement), supporting clients in developing their sustainability strategies and reducing the environmental impacts of their products. 

Donald Reid is a Principal Consultant with more than 15 years’ experience in life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon and water footprinting of products and corporate GHG assessments. He has significant experience in the pharmaceutical, renewable energy, food, agriculture and retail sectors as well as waste and packaging. ​​He has extensive experience in data analysis and data management ​Donald leads the AstraZeneca LCA programme for ERM and provides technical governance across all AstraZeneca LCA studies.

Katie is a Partner within Product Sustainability team. For over 20 years, Katie has worked aspects of sustainable claims based on robust methodologies, particularly carbon and provenance. Katie is a BSI committee member on a number of working groups and has been working with TIC industry during the last 20 years. She has worked with global businesses and sector associations to develop private standards to represent and value sustainability initiatives reflecting material issues to individual sectors.
