ERM is proud to be attending and presenting at this year’s Financial Times Metals & Mining Summit 2025, a premier gathering of leading voices in the mining industry. The 2025 theme centres on navigating tariffs and trade tensions in an evolving geopolitical landscape.
As the energy transition accelerates and global demand for rare and critical minerals intensifies, expectations of the mining sector have never been higher. Policymakers, manufacturers, and investors are calling for increased supply, alongside greater sustainability and transparency — all amid rising uncertainty driven by geopolitical realignment and a US-led trade war.
In response to these challenges, ERM remains committed to engaging in key industry forums to share our insights and expertise. We are especially pleased to highlight the participation of our colleague, Dr Stacy Hope, who will be speaking on the panel “Has ESG passed its peak? – Rethinking sustainability in a more political marketplace.”
We look forward to contributing to the dialogue and connecting with peers across the sector.
If you’re attending the Summit, we warmly invite you to connect with our ERM delegation to explore how we can support your organisation in navigating the evolving landscape of mining and metals.
