It’s at the intersection of business strategy and social impact where the potential for massive systemic change and disruptive innovation lies, in turn shaping how businesses make strategic decisions on how to remain competitive, resilient and sustainable in the future.

Based in London, Rida leads SustainAbility’s trends intelligence work in Europe focused on identifying key environmental, social and economic trends, and analysing their implications for core business strategy and operations. Rida has a particular interest in human rights issues in the supply chain and in-depth knowledge and work experience in emerging markets in Asia and Africa.

She has also managed a range of materiality, sustainability reporting and strategy development projects spanning a variety of sectors, with an emphasis on automotive, food and beverage and pharmaceutical sector. Past and current clients include AstraZeneca, Michelin, Mitsubishi, Nestlé, Volkswagen.

Prior to joining SustainAbility, Rida worked as an Analyst at a boutique strategy consulting firm in London where she consulted clients on regional strategy in East Africa. She has also worked at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York as part of the Commitments Team facilitating cross-sector partnerships in the economic empowerment and education focus areas.
