Livia Martini

The increasing complexities we continue to face as a society politically, socially and economically are sometimes overwhelming. We can no longer afford to react through short term “in the moment” solutions; we must begin to work towards fundamental long lasting change. I work at SustainAbility because we strive for that change daily.”

Based in New York, Livia’s consulting portfolio includes companies within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive, finance and tech industries. Livia works on long-term sustainability strategy projects, advising clients on their material issues, supply chain sustainability, and sustainability goals and targets. She is also part of SustainAbility’s Trends Team, helping provide clients with insight into emerging sustainability developments across sectors and geographies. Livia is particularly interested in the intersections between business and poverty/inequality eradication.

Prior to joining SustainAbility, Livia worked for Red Argentina para la Cooperacion Internacional, helping Argentine NGO’s build long term relationships with the private sector. She has an MA in International Relations and International Economics and spent a year in East Africa studying the effects of food aid on displaced communities.
