Julia Harrison
Non-Executive Director
“In a world where everyone (thankfully) is jumping on the sustainability bandwagon, it’s an honour to be working with the team at SustainAbility who keep pushing the boundaries, producing new thinking and moving the heart of the debate forward by challenging us all.”
Based in Brussels and working internationally, Julia is a political communications specialist who contributes to SustainAbility Board discussions on strategy, performance, risk and management.
Julia set up her own consultancy, Blueprint, with her partners in 2003 to provide communications, public affairs and strategic counsel to international organisations. In 2008 she sold Blueprint to FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE, FCN) where she now leads the EU public affairs practice. Julia was previously CEO Europe of an international consultancy, having established and run GPC in Europe for the Omnicom group. She was a founding board member of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, advisory board member of the Professional Women International Belgium; member of the European Network of Women in Decision-Making; member of the European Public Affairs Consultancies’ Association management team; vice chairman of the Downing Campaign board.
