Zoë Arden joins as Director in SustainAbility's London office
SustainAbility is pleased to announce that Zoë Arden has today joined us as a Director.
Zoë specialises in sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement and storytelling. With over 20 years of advisory and in-house experience, Zoë works with business leaders on sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, employee campaigns, and issues management.

She was previously director of communications and corporate social responsibility at BT Retail and the CEO’s representative on the pan-BT Climate Change and Environment Taskforce. At BT she secured the adoption of a more pro-active business strategy on sustainability which included the introduction of energy efficient phones, new and refocused NGO partnerships, and more employee involvement.
With her consultancy Connected Comms and as director of sustainability at communications agency MSL Group, Zoë has supported a variety of organisations including Business in the Community, The Prince’s Countryside Fund, Berkeley Group, WSP Environment & Energy and New Cities Foundation. She has also served as MD of PR consultancies The Weber Group and GolinHarris and VP of San Francisco-based Access Communications, where her long-standing client was Apple Computer.
She is currently completing a Masters in Sustainability Leadership at Cambridge University and has interviewed dozens of business leaders for research papers on topics including leadership and collaborative consumption and advised social enterprise The People Who Share.
