Announcing the live launch of Road to Credibility 2010 in São Paulo on 28th October

18 Oct 2010 – Event

Every two years since 1994, SustainAbility has undertaken a benchmark survey to shed light on corporate sustainability reporting across the globe and to recommend ways to improve its impact. In 2008 for the first time we focused exclusively on a single nation: Brazil. We partnered with Rio-based FBDS to conduct the analysis, and the results were published as The Road to Credibility.

Since 2008 we have seen global events shake the world’s financial system and everyone who depends upon it. For this year’s survey, we returned to Brazil to see how the nation’s corporate accountability landscape has evolved during this difficult period. That work is now complete.

We’re pleased to announce the live launch of Road to Credibility 2010 on October 28th at Brazil’s securities, commodities and futures exchange BM&FBOVESPA in São Paulo.

The event will be held in the Abelardo Auditorium from 8.30am to 1.30pm and is free to attend for those who pre-register. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn why sustainability reporting is evolving so rapidly in Brazil
  • Find out which Brazilian corporations made it into our Top 10 of sustainability reporters and why
  • Quiz expert panelists on the changing accountability landscape in Brazil and the implications for global corporations, investors and the sustainability agenda as a whole

If you would like to join us in São Paulo, please email us now for an invitation. We will publish the full Road to Credibility 2010 report for free download after the live launch. If you have not already done so, please sign up to SustainAbility’s latest news and thinking (under “Stay Informed” at the bottom of this page) and we will let you know as soon as the report is available.
