EDF: Is Nuclear Really an Economic Option? (Nikkei Ecology)
Electricité de France (EDF), the French leader in nuclear electricity generation, has announced a “global nuclear renaissance”. EDF, a global expert in the construction and maintenance of nuclear facilities, owns and operates 58 of the world’s 440 nuclear plants. The company claims that nuclear facilities provide “competitive energy with zero CO2 emissions”.
