SustainAbility is a values driven organisation with a clear mission - to inspire and support business performance and innovation that builds towards our vision of a just and sustainable world for present and future generations.

Our Board ensures the viability of the business through strategic direction and oversight. We seek to ensure that our Board composition reflects both the business and civil society dimensions of our work.

Rules of Engagement frame all our work under the day-to-day management of our Management Team.

Where appropriate, we consult with the SustainAbility Faculty to test our thinking, priorities and performance.

Unlike the Board and Management Team, the Faculty plays a purely advisory role, with no legal responsibilities. Formed on 1 January 1996, its purpose is to challenge our priorities, advise on major strategic or ethical issues, and act as guardians of our company values.
