Career Highlights
In my work on 9 books and 50 documentaries on aspects of sustainable development I seen first-hand the vast impacts of humanity on our home planet and still the very limited initiatives to counter them.
As a consultant I have been able to help shape the sustainability policies of major cities such as London, Vienna and Adelaide.
As an adviser to the Dongtan Eco-City Project on Chongming Island, Shanghai, I am able to help shape key aspects of a world-leading project.
As a newly elected fellow of the UK Royal Commission on the Exhibition of 1851 I am in a position to further develop theory and practice of urban sustainability.

Why Faculty Matters
SustainAbility is a pioneer in an important field of endeavour. Companies are responsible for many of humanity’s on this planet. It is important for me to know how new perspectives of corporate responsibility can shape the future of the planet, and how I can contribute to that process.
